Kim created the company out of the simple love of a good party. She is a master of many trades, a collector of knowledge, and wise beyond her years. Kim is a mentor to many and a firm believer that family is the most important thing in life. She is always up for an adventure and the lake is her happy place. Her calm nature brings you instant peace, and her strong will can make the impossible happen.
Although very business-minded, Kim makes sure to let her vibrant and contagious personality shine through! When she isn鈥檛 working, you will find her having a blast at the lake. She values the weekends/Sundays at Lake Gaston with her son, husband, and all of their pals down there. You鈥檒l find her tubing, jet-skiing, boating with friends, and hanging on the dock in the sunshine. Who said a boss lady couldn鈥檛 have a little fun?

Kim Moody Design, just voted Best Wedding Planner for Best of Borrowed & Blue Richmond 2016 & 2017, has at team of full-time wedding planners. Their services range from total planning and event design, to decor rentals, partial planning, linen rentals, along with custom calligraphy and signage. Their clients are located all across the Commonwealth, but they mainly serve Richmond and Southside Virginia couples.聽 In their design studio, the team not only plans the client鈥檚 dream wedding, but also create stunning floral work. Their floral work and design has taken on a life of its own and they are now being recognized as a popular wedding florist!聽 Kim has spoken at wedding conferences across the companies for audiences as large as 3,000 event professionals.
Kim鈥檚 retail store鈥檚 鈥淭REND.鈥� now have two locations 鈥� the headquarters in Blackstone boasting 6,000 sf of retail space which has been around since 2011, and the second location which opened in Richmond鈥檚 Carytown district in June 2016.
