(Photo by Macson McGuigan)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/themennonite.org\/immigration-community-day-held-philadelphia\/\">an article posted in The Mennonite<\/a>, she covers the annual celebration and day of advocacy, while including reflections of her summer placement with Philadelphia Praise Center. Shelly is from Collinsville, Mississippi, and attends Jubilee Mennonite Church in Meridian, Mississippi.<\/p>\n<p>Other 2018 MIP participants include\u00a0<strong>Liz Marin<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Anna Ressler<\/strong>, with\u00a0<strong>Lydia Haggard\u00a0<\/strong>participating in a similar arrangement.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/news\/2017\/07\/ministry-exploration-draws-five-students-summer-internships\/\">Read more about the 2018 participants and their placements<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>More than 300 黑料正能量 students have participated in the program, a partnership of the student\u2019s respective Mennonite college, home and host congregations and conferences, and Mennonite Church USA.
