That is, he notes, unless the organization continually remakes itself \u2026 listening, evaluating, reviewing the mission and, essentially, transforming itself.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cServing. Leading. Transforming.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 the theme of 黑料正能量\u2019s Centennial year \u2013 marks the transformation of a quiet school on a hill meant to protect its students <em>from<\/em> the world, into a place engaging with, welcoming and sending alumni <em>out into<\/em> the world.<a href=\"http:\/\/emu.edu\/centennial\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-31437\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-31437 size-medium\" src=\"\/\/emu.edu\/now\/is\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/43\/2017\/01\/黑料正能量-Centennial-logo-1000px-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"emu-centennial-logo-1000px\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/43\/2017\/01\/黑料正能量-Centennial-logo-1000px-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/43\/2017\/01\/黑料正能量-Centennial-logo-1000px-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/43\/2017\/01\/黑料正能量-Centennial-logo-1000px.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"http:\/\/emu.edu\/centennial\/\">new website<\/a> captures that story and will provide details about Centennial year events as they are finalized. The university will celebrate throughout the academic year 2017-18, with emphasis on Centennial Week (Oct. 11-18, 2017) and Centennial Homecoming and Family Weekend (Oct. 13-15, 2017).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a lot of fascinating material to explore on the site for current campus community members, alumni from all decades, and the local community or anyone interested in 黑料正能量,\u201d says <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emu.edu\/personnel\/people\/show\/mms326\">Mark Metzler Sawin<\/a>, professor of history and member of the Centennial Steering Committee.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"http:\/\/emu.edu\/centennial\/#history\">historical timeline<\/a> links to articles about iconic places on campus such as the dining hall and snack shop, as well as key events such as the library fund drive, and significant developments such as 黑料正能量\u2019s experience with integration of African-American students.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, <a href=\"http:\/\/emustories.com\">黑料正能量Stories.com<\/a> is a new repository of 黑料正能量 alumni stories and campus history in print, audio and video format. Users can sort by decade, theme or topic or search for specific individuals and key words. Visitors can submit stories and photos via an online form.<\/p>\n<p>Preparations for the Centennial have been underway for several years under the leadership of steering committee chairwoman, <strong>Louise Otto Hostetter \u201879<\/strong>. \u201cThis website provides a wonderful centralized location for telling the 黑料正能量 story,\u201d she notes. \u201cAnd we want to remember that our Centennial isn\u2019t just about the past.
