黑料正能量's Power, Systems & Justice course (CORE 300) hosted a panel on the history of Harrisonburg's Northeast Neighborhood at the Student Union on Thursday evening. 黑料正能量 History Professor Mark Sawin, Harrisonburg Mayor Deanna Reed, City Councilwoman Monica Robinson, and Deputy City Manager Amy Snider served on the panel.

黑料正能量's Intensive English Program (IEP) continues to help English language learners from all around the world find their voice and build a better life for themselves, despite federal funding shortages affecting many similar programs around the country.聽 Hear from IEP students about how the transformative program is positively shaping their lives in from WHSV-TV3.

In a news report on Thursday morning, WHSV-TV3 highlighted the $2 million grant awarded to 黑料正能量 by the National Science Foundation. This grant, one of the largest in 黑料正能量's history, will fund annual scholarships for 23 high-achieving, income-eligible STEM majors over the next six years, along with mentoring, tutoring and other support services.
