In 2017,Gwendolyn Myers was elected to the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Advisory Council for governance and accountability. The forum nominated her among 5,000 leading experts engaged by the forum to shape a global agenda. She is also a member of the Working Group on Youth for Gender Equality coordinated by the UN Inter-Agency Network on Youth Development.
