It was a successful start to the 2017-18 campaign for Eastern Mennonite's  (Telford, Pa./Dock Mennonite Academy). The golfer shot two strokes below last year's average at the Shenandoah Invitational this weekend, finishing in the top half of the field.

The Old Dominion Athletic Conference named 14 ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ student-athletes to the 2016-17 ODAC Sportsmanship Teams in their respective sports.
Despite deteriorating conditions throughout the tournament, ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ freshman (Telford, Pa./Christopher Dock) proved to be one of the most consistent women at the ODAC Championships. The three-day tournament was held at the Stoney Creek Golf Course in Wintergreen Resort, wrapping up Tuesday.
Longacre shot rounds of 98, 99 and 99, holding at 22nd out of 30 golfers. She totaled a score of 296 (+80) for her first conference championship.
The freshman finished the year with an average round score of 91.5.
Bridgewater's Christina Herbert used a seven-stroke lead after the first day to earn a six-stroke win for the individual medalist honors. She carded a 229 (+13). BC also won the team title at 983, ahead of Washington and Lee's 1033.
