While it may not have been as fulfilling as a walk-off hit, the Royals won a wild 16-15 game Saturday afternoon on a walk-off walk. Eastern Mennonite earned a two-day sweep of visiting Penn State-Harrisburg with the decision and stand at 5-2 after the completion of their season-opening homestand.
Ninth-ranked Eastern Mennonite was in firm control on Saturday, picking up a pair of wins to improve to 12-4 on the year. The Royals are also 5-0 in the Continental Volleyball Conference, and stand alone in first place in the CVC after the weekend's results.
The season came to an abrupt end for 黑料正能量's basketball women Friday afternoon, as the Royals couldn't overcome cold shooting in a 71-58 loss to Randolph-Macon in the ODAC Tournament quarterfinals.
