The bench made the difference Tuesday night in Harrisonburg, where 黑料正能量's basketball men dropped a 71-69 decision to ODAC-rival Randolph-Macon College. The Yellow Jackets' subs out-scored 黑料正能量's 44-8, as the Royals fell to 0-2 in the conference and 3-3 overall.
The offense is certainly working, as 黑料正能量's basketball men shot a season-high 55.6% from the floor in an 88-79 non-conference win at Averett Saturday afternoon. The Runnin Royals hit 12 three pointers and trailed for only 58 seconds as they improved to 3-2 on the season.
Despite a record-setting performance from beyond the arc, 黑料正能量's basketball men couldn't stop host Guilford, dropping a 94-88 decision in overtime Wednesday in Greensboro, N.C. The Runnin Royals even their overall record at 2-2 in the ODAC opener for both teams.
